I should be thankful, noon and I have water (after being told it would be off all day). Instead, I'm paranoid. I assume that as soon as I attempt to take a shower, and get soap or shampoo all over, that's when the water will be shut off. So I'm still waiting. And feeling kinda stupid for stockpiling so much water last night - though I know that was actually a wise move.
There was much cat hissing going on this morning. I could hear that MeowMeow was trying to come in and and Espressa was trying to keep him/her out. That was around 8a. I got up at noon and found this in the living room. Guess we know who's got the dominant personality.
I guess MeowMeow has decided to make this his/her weekend home. I should probably kick him/her out - since I don't know if s/he's got any communicable diseases - but I like MeowMeow and am just happy to see someone using the cat bed. And my kitties get spazzed out just enough to be come super cuddly attention whores - which is fun for me.
When I opened my bedroom window, I found that my Amazon Lily was in bloom. Yeeeaaaa!!
The flowers are about 1/5" long. The plants are a bitch to keep alive in this climate (at least, for me). I once had one with tons & tons of yellow/orange/red blooms surrounding a bunch of
black violas (solid black little flowers) - that was a
gorgeous combo. Too bad I can't find black violas anymore.
It's a beautiful day outside. Guess I need to put some effort into getting back on board with some of my original plans... maybe hit the sale at 2nd Street Beauty, pick up an HDTV converter box (my government coupons finally arrived this week), and debate about that strip/pole demo this evening. But first I have to check my Voxy neighbors.
