QotD: My Holiday Traditions
Tell us about your holiday traditions.

- Make tons of plans, usually holiday-themed, for nearly every night between Thanksgiving & Christmas (sometimes 2 or 3 events in a night) in order to keep busy and forget that I'm alone.
- Give lots & lots of money/goods to charity - remember how blessed my life truly is.
- Realize I've spent myself broke. Spend more money anyway.
- Become tired and overwhelmed by constant plans. Cancel all but the most interesting or most boring, depending upon my mood.
- Wish for death of numerous "holiday drivers" who are out on the road during the hours I drive; hours I've intentionally selected due their usual lack of idiot drivers.
- Scream. A LOT.
- Go into complete denial about "the holidays". Do whatever - preferring activities that don't have holiday themes.
- Have a full-scale emotional crash & burn on Christmas Eve/day as I suddenly want to do something, with someone, but find everyone busy celebrating with family and most businesses closed. Watch TV.
- Start discussing New Years Eve with friends in hopes of finding something fun to do.
- Decide all my "friends" are complete and utter retards - especially after learning they've made NYE plans but not included me.
- Make plans to go out alone on New Year's Eve.
- Decide I'd rather not be in a club, or on the road, with amateur drinkers and spend NYE at home, alone, watching TV. Go to bed early.
- Call "friends" on Jan 1, hear how bad their overpriced party was, and finally feel some joy.
