LQotD: Say My Name

Comments

sex? what's a sex?

It makes me kinda uncomfy, and I feel really awkward saying their name during sex as well. I am a big fan of moaning and groaning, though. Leave the names out of it!

i dont care if they do it say whatever.

but i normally won't say anything similar back. i just stick with sounds..

plus.. if you're not in a monogamous relationship, and theres a few ppl you're hooking up with, you never want to say the wrong name.. thats always bad...
It kind of skeeves me out for some reason but my BF likes to hear his name so I'll do it once in a while, at key moments ;)
I've never had a guy say my name during sex.

I do like it when the guy I'm seeing calls me "baby", but only the guy I'm seeing. If it's a one-nighter and he calls me "baby" it's over!

Bonus answer: I once had a partner yell out my online gaming handle in bed.
Guess I should reply too:
I find hearing my name (legal or nicknames) during sex to be HIGHLY distracting. I totally step out of the moment and think, "Huh? What? Did you need something?"

"Baby" and similar endearments depend up how they're said.
Dirty names = mostly good (though again, depends on intent)

"Who's your daddy?" confused the hell out of me, totally removed me from the experience, and made me (to this day) wonder what I should have said back. I have not been trained for that scenario. Plus, I have father issues - so it's not a good place to go with me. "Who's your papi?" might work better (though, now, there's a 50/50 change it would make me think of Steve/PantsParty/PapiChulo)
Just call em all Darlin' or Honey, or somesuch - then you will never call out the wrong name. Or just go out with guys called Steve - I once went out with four guys called Steve, one after the other.

Now that was confusing when I then went out with a Paul!

I don't like names, but I do like endearments. Its kinda nice to know they think they are with someone!
LoL.... I was dating 2 Mike's at once.. but one preferred being called Michael... so i just stick with "hey"... that works well for me lol...

now keeping them separate so my friends who know i'm talking about.. we have nick names for them...

nice guy, new guy, anal guy, clingy guy, etc etc.....
LOL - I used to call everyone Dave or Chris, cause I knew so many of them. Now I call people, regardless of gender, Fred - just because. But none of that is in bed - I still don't like hearing, or calling, names during sex. But porn-movie style narrative ("Oh, yes [whatever they are currently doing]!!") ?? Oh, I'm ALL over that!!
I can tell you from personal expression that it's a hell of a lot better than having a different name called out. That hurt.
