I hurt everywhere

Well, all i did was stretch on my floor and dance around my bedroom a bit like a nerd and I am sore. So congrats, and keep it up! (I'm trying to....blerg!)

and yeah, someone told me, when you see that dubious error message, open your page in a new window to check to see if it actually went through.

hey, at least you went and did it. I'm too lazy and quite frankly, scared, to go to any sort of fitness class. I'm a petite person but getting flabby ain't fun. I have dents in my ass for christsakes. DENTS. or, we could call 'em: dimples. yeah, dimples sounds cuter. :)

Those shoes are super-sexy.
My entire body is a shrine to "dimples" and I still do stripper stuff. You can surely take some kind of class where you stay clothed! Maybe you need something like what I do - both S Factor and the SirenDance studio have NO MIRRORS. It's pretty easy to feel sexy when there's nothing to tell you that you're not.
Right?!? And less than $34!
my god I'm so jealous of your fuck me shoes!! I can never wear anything like that thanks to my super skinny narrow foot. Sigh.

Hell yeah for going to the workout and OH HELL YEAH for those SHOES!! Those shoes are the shit.

Don't expect to be able to change all habits at once, my lady. Start out small and stick to it. Like this week, stick to all the workouts. Next week, stick to the workouts and mabye switch up your mixer to a Coke Zero or something. You can do anything you put your mind to. :-)

Damn, I'm jealous of those shoes! Happy Monday!!

I second all the Hell Yeahs - those shoes are just yummy. But I could never walk in them without looking all chicken-tina-turner-legged.

And ain't Vox just great - it did that to your meme the other day, too. Got me on a post the other day. And I never got a reply from them, either. Not even an acknowledgment.
They're on clearance at S Factor!! I really wanted the leopard ones but they only had drag queen size (11) of those.
I should make a resolution to learn how to walk in shoes with that heel height. Those things are super shexe! I'm sure I'd break my ankle.
It's not as difficult as you might expect. The platform means it's only a 4" heel for your foot (and that's normal fashion). And, insider tip, stiletto heels are actually MUCH easier to walk on than chunky or wedge heels.

For these, the trick is just to make sure you set your toes down flat, no walking on the side of your foot or you'll eat it.

I am now inspired to go buy a pair and see if I can do it. I'll let you know.
I thought of a test run for you: Try walking (slowly) in regular heels with a full glass of water. You should absorb the shock from each step in your hips (by swaying them) so you loose very little water. Some people are also helped by being told to put one foot directly in front of the other (slight cross steps).

You can walk in ultra high heels without absorbing movement in your hips but it's a hell of a lot sexier if you take your time, slow struts, boobs out, total attitude on your face!

Ideally, you won't be upright in them for long anyway!
i wish i could wear shoes like that and not fall down. i am a total klutz and sprain one ankle or another on a regular basis. something about loose tendons in my ankles! but your suggestions about practice-walking sound interesting...
I started walking in heels in my teens and it's never really been a problem. My sister, on the other hand, was a flats girl. First tried heels in her 20s and never got the hang of them.

the walking practice is good for flats/barefoot too - good way to learn to absorb shock in your hips and/or sway them to woo potential partners!
