I have such wonderful children
One hour till mass fireworks. Everyone is inside, tummies full, and asleep. Ahhhh.... calm.
Moshi is in the dining room. Boo is in the living room. Espressa is in the bedroom closet. Skritches is in her crate in the bedroom - no more Jackson Pollack impersonations now that I changed her litter.
With the exception of one almost-out-of-control cat fight, where Skritches completely lost her mind but was unknowingly fighting with a sofa instead of Boo, all has been nice today. I pity any cat that gets in her way - she is one VIOLENT little ball of fluff!
I've consumed an obscene amount of hot dogs, due to completely forgetting the concept of side dishes and having nothing else to eat, and have moved on to drinking "bullfrogs" - a tribute to Joel (he taught me to make them) - frozen limeade mix & vodka. Yeeummmm.
Long weekend... ahhhhhh.

minus boo being a pissy bitch (hissing at the cage even when Skritches isn't in it) and minor drama in the backyard (Boo had a full freakout when she saw Skritches out there - I'm sure the neighbors were amused), it's been a calm day.
Boo & Moshi are currently outside (hopefully not across the street), Skritches is at my feet (soon to go back to her crate), and Espressa is now in the dining room having some dinner.
See, things are looking up.
Elvis barked at a real estate sign today. That's how I can tell his eyesight isn't what it used to be. *sigh*
He always barked at trash cans in our path on the sidewalk (thrown back after trash truck came) though.
Well I gotta go find the fan in the attic.
