A Slug's Life, day 4

I got up at 1:30pm today. At 2:30p, like the past 3 days, I'm still in my pajamas.

I never left the house yesterday. But I did laundry, that counts for something. So what if I didn't put it, or last week's pile of clean clothes, away? Tomorrow is another day!

Didn't shower till 11:30pm... and only then so I'd be warm when I went to bed. It was way too f-ing cold to go anywhere last night, let alone all the way to Miss Kitty's (where they wouldn't have coat check so I'd have to choose between carrying my coat all night or not wearing it in and then freezing while waiting for my car at closing) so I stuck with hibernating. I took some Tylenol PM (for my knee) and was asleep by 2am.

I was gonna check out OldNavy today but realized I really don't need anything and it would just be frivolous spending... especially when I can only remember one thing that I really wanted and it probably would look stupid anyway. I'll run errands today... papergoods, coffee, weatherstripping (it's pretty bad when you can feel the wind blowing in through the doorways)... later.

Right now, the cats are playing out front. I promised Boo 3 front yard playtimes this weekend. This is technically #3 but I'm only counting it as #2 because one of them was really short.

Remember the neighbor that hates my cat(s)? He's all pissy about the possiblity that Moshi, while stranded on his garage (detached from the home) roof for 2 days might have pooped up there. We have raccoons & oppossums and tons of other stray cats that might have been up there but he's mad that my cat might have pooped on his garage roof. Whatever. Other than that, he's a really nice guy. Just REALLY hates cats I guess.

Gawd, I need to vacuum this house! It really sucks that I prefer the filth to the sound/effort of vacuuming! I wonder if hypnosis could work on that. I'll have to ask.

The grapefruit look like they're finally ripe. I was told that they're still really delicious. I haven't had any off my tree in about a year but when I did, they were seriously some of the best tasting grapefruits I'd ever tried. Ditto for the neighbor's (bark.bark.bark.) oranges - though I didn't see any this year (I wonder if they took the tree down). I'll probably pick mine next weekend. I'm thinking a few extra days would do them good (and more will be ripe). Mmm.... fresh greyhounds (vodka + grapefruit)!!

Ah, crap... I forgot to get mailers and send out dvds. Okay... for those of you waiting, I promise they'll go out on Monday.
